sacroiliac joint is the connection between the spine and the hipbone. It forms the foundation for the spinal column. Continuous sitting in a wrong posture may cause under stress to this joint and also the region of the tailbone. This posture help relieve these stresses.
Method :
Lie prone with a chair near to feet.
Keep arms stretched forward and the neck relaxed
Flex the right knee, raise the leg up and rest the top of the right foot on the chair.
Keep the right leg straight with knee caps pulled.
Don’t rotate the pelvic rim; Keep the hips even stay for 20 seconds with slow deep breathing
flex the right knee and gently bring it down and relax.
Change side
Flex both knees; raise both legs up and rest foot on the chair.
Straighten both legs; pull the kneecaps and tighten the tigh muscles
stay for 20-30 seconds with slow and deep breathing.
slowly descend
Repeat twice . If this height is not comportable rest the foot on the seat of the chair.
